“I can't emphasize enough Susi and Ricardo’s amazing courage and determination to go beyond the prognosis and earthly verdict passed on their marriage after suffering through one of the most difficult storms life can throw at you, choosing rather to believe God and His promises to overcome a crisis that many marriages today could not surpass. If you’re looking for a book to help you heal the wounds of betrayal, rejection, and sin and show you the path toward freedom from anger, bitterness, and resentment, you’ve found it”.

-Rene Gonzalez, Psalmist and Senior Pastor of Casa de Jubilo, San Juan Puerto Rico

“Ricardo and Susana's honesty and transparency have touched the very fibers of my being, for it requires great courage to be transparent. These two individuals are generals in God’s army, for after having been in the trenches, they have learned from their mistakes and now stand firm to fight the enemy. I’m proud to be their friends and co-servants and honor them as great ones of our faith. I’m convinced that "What if We Start Over?" will bring freedom and restoration to thousands of marriages the enemy has tried to destroy, and that through the experience lived by Susana and Ricardo, God will heal many.”

-Marcos Witt, 5 Time Grammy award winning recording artist, Houston TX.

There are some stories that are told with a nostalgia and pride and others that are shared with paralyzing fear and cautious trepidation. I can safely say that ours encompasses all of the above.

Our story is one of love, faith, and perseverance. It is at the same time as common as any other and as unique as you’ll ever find. It is a garden that was wilted and decaying from sin but was brought back to life by the supernatural dew of God’s amazing grace.

The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, that everything you sow you shall reap. Whenever I heard those words as a child I always transported myself to a future time and place, that moment when we will all stand before our Creator and, with our iniquities exposed, have judgment passed upon us. If you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, you will inherit eternal life; but if you pass on that decision, you will be held accountable, paying for your mistakes and transgressions with endless suffering and permanent separation from God. This was something terrible and distant, so I thought. But sin also has immediate repercussions, charging mercilessly for our all that which, in secret, we assumed would be free. Unfortunately, sooner or later, the bill always arrives.
